Works
Work on North Works started in June 1916 and was funded by the
Government to create more manufacturing capacity for the War
effort. It consisted of a Foundry, Machine Shops, Tool Room and
later on produced the 'A' series engine.
Work started on demolition in September 2006 and was finished in
January 2007.
